New York, NY November 2, 2022, Girl group MUSAS are returning to impress with their single and music video, “Patience,” following their debut release, “Destino,” in 2021. The trio teams up with Afro-Colombian producer DJ Crisboy, Nigerian producers Davidace & Young D, and Colombian Latin Grammy award-winning violinist La Lulu to create the perfect anthem for those entering their bad bitch era. The afrobeat tune carries instruments such as bass, drums, keyboard, percussion, violin, flute, and synths, along with the sister’s powerhouse vocals.

“Patience” is perhaps an ironic title since the song’s catchphrase is “No patience for you.” It feels reminiscent of throwback songs like “No Scrubs,” where young women are unapologetically ambitious and outspoken and don’t let themselves get taken for granted. It’s about empowerment and saying, “look, I’m in charge.”

“Working with music video directors Jimmy Usma & Alejo Gutierrez, our team, and family for the second time was a fantastic experience. We gave free rein to our creative ideas by producing a visual fest of makeup, hair, and wardrobe.” The video starts with a colorful split screen where the sister trio belts the lyrics and vibes to the beat as they primp for a night out. Decked in bling, they take their fierce alter egos to the party scene and show off their chops with an upbeat choreography. “Patience” also brings out the diverse and bilingual musical background that characterizes MUSAS with lyrics in both English and Spanish.
